Having a yard that is over grown and messy is not going to help the presence of your home. The best way to stay on top of this would be to set a mowing schedule. Plan to cut your grass every Sunday morning or every other Sunday (or whatever day works best). Also, trim and prune your bushes and trees as needed. Be sure to maintain the weeds in your flower bed. Overgrowth can make your home look sloppy and poorly maintained.

When most people talk about curb appeal they only think about the yard. This isn’t the only thing that goes noticed. Having a nice driveway, walkway, and stone work outside your home really makes it pop. Keeping your driveway edged and free of weeds in the cracks is the easiest thing to do. You can also seal your driveway to make it look new!

Mulch can come in different stains that can compliment the color of your home. Make sure you don’t suffocate your plants with too much mulch. Try to avoid volcano mulching around the base of trees.

If your property doesn’t have any flower beds, you can spruce up your front porch with potted plants. Colorful pots with nice plants are a great way to add curb appeal. Some people will also put potted plants around their mailbox to add color.
