  • What's the difference between tree removal and tree trimming?

    Tree removal means to cut down the tree, take it away, remove the stump or grind it to ground level. 


    Timming trees is the process of cutting off branches or limbs. Trimming is part of improving the tree's health, shape, improving light penetration and budding in the spring.


  • Do I need a permit to cut down a tree on my property?

    Maryland has several state laws that protect trees requiring permits for removal by private property owners. You should also contact your HOA for their tree removal restrictions. 


  • What are the tree removal services you offer?

    Tree trimming and removal, stump removal, stump grinding to ground, brush removal, lot clearing, storm clean-up, and vegetation removal.  

  • What type of landscaping do you do?

    Landscaping services include mulching, spring clean-up, landscape design, plant and sod installation. 


    We also offer lawn maintenance packages. 

  • Are you licensed and insured?

    Yes.

  • What is considered a critical area property?

    Critical Area includes all land within 1,000 feet of Maryland’s tidal waters and tidal wetlands. It also includes the waters of the Chesapeake Bay, the Atlantic Coastal Bays, their tidal tributaries, and the lands underneath these tidal areas.

  • Do you sell firewood?

    Yes, we sell firewood for $225 or $200 cash per cord delivered. This is all oak, cherry, locust, hickory etc. No junk. Please send us a message or call the office. Prices include delivery in Calvert County only.
