Using a Crane for Tree Removal

crane tree removal

We have found that removing trees the traditional way can be labor intensive. Removing trees often requires a tree climber, bucket, complex rigging, cutting, then lowering the limbs to the ground dodging obstacles such as buildings, pools, and other trees. Not only does using a crane reduce the time it takes to bring down a tree, but also decreases impact to its surroundings.

When we come to your property to provide a tree removal estimate, we will decide if a crane would be the better option to the traditional method. We will check elevation, grades, overhead obstacles, and the size of the work and landing areas.

Because each tree is different, we carefully analyze and establish a removal plan. We’ll consider the weight of the pieces to be removed, growth patterns, angle of the limbs and branches, and the landing area where the cuts will be lowered. For example, an oak tree’s large horizontal limbs will require a different rigging and lift capacity than a pine tree with a vertical growth pattern.

When we arrive at the site to remove the tree(s), the crane will be pulled into the work zone, setup and leveled. Our crew will then get to work doing what they do best, removing trees, safely and efficiently. Contact us for a free estimate.
